The Path to Clean Air:

Join us April 25 to learn how we can effectively eliminate Southern California's Port Drayage Truck Emissions by 2023.
Registration

The Cleanest Heavy-Duty Trucks in the World:
  • NOx tailpipe emissions certified to a level:
    • 90% below the EPA’s current exhaust standard
    • 90% below the cleanest available diesel engine
Proven & Commercially Available Technology:
  • Fleets can purchase these ultra-low-emission NGVs from several traditional truck OEMs—such as Peterbilt, Freightliner, Volvo, Kenworth, Mack—with established sales and service networks.

  • The Cummins Westport ISX 12G Engine has been in use since 2013, in over 9,000 units in service with major fleets, including UPS, Kroger, FedEx, Frito Lay, Anheuser Busch, and more.

KEY INSIGHT: A heavy-duty natural gas truck with the 0.02g NOx engine has a similar emissions profile to that of a heavy-duty battery electric truck plugged into the California electrical grid.

Drive Economic Development While Cost-Effectively Mitigating NOx Emissions:
    • Dollar-for-dollar, natural gas provides for a greater number of clean vehicles deployed and greater NOx emission reduction levels.

    • The widespread deployment of natural gas trucks will spur major economic development and job growth in the region via private investment in fueling and maintenance infrastructure expansion.

    • Natural gas trucks from leading OEMs will ensure the ports have the capacity they need to move freight to and from the harbor.
